Guadalajara
Observations and commentaries from our Grand Circle tour, March, 2005

It has long been my belief that photography, as a means of preserving memories, accomplishes only a small fraction of that task. My sketches, however, implant memories so firmly in my mind that even a quarter-century later, I can look at a page I sketched, and be instantly transported back to the moment I created it. Thus, as I've done on numerous occasions in the past, I brought a blank sketchbook and watercolors on this trip, and recorded these moments, scenes, and pleasures I was sure I'd want to remember in the future.

Perhaps you'll enjoy remembering too.

I invite you to add to your own memories of our recent trip by owning excellent 8-1/2" x 11" (original size) prints of these pages . For details of how to do so, please scroll down to the bottom of this page.
